The Colin Miles is a great schooling bit with a 55mm center piece creating greater tongue pressure. The rings give the horse something to play with and help keep the horses attention on the bit.

The mouth piece is made from blue sweet iron, because it:

oxidizes easily
encourages salivation
helps bit acceptance
is warm and sweet

Please note the blue will fade with use.
